LocalBeautyArtist.com does not guarantee success or promise that a client referred to a beauty artist by localbeautyartist.com will hire or pay for services provided by a beauty artist found through localbeautyartist.com
Our responsibility is limited to providing contact information of potentials customers who have expressed interest in a beauty artist’s service(s) by submitting a request to contact them either by phone, email or any other specified method of communication.
It is the beauty artist’s explicit responsibility to make invoicing and payment with any client’s that may be referred to them through localbeautyartist.com or its affiliates.
Credit request
Ultimately, our service is based on the information sent to us by the client, for this reason we can never be 100% convinced of the seriousness of a request that a customer submits on the platform. Our team makes sure to ask the right questions, and will disqualify a project when it does not meet our qualification standards. This is a case-by-case aspect and if you are unable to touch base with the client and have a reasonable chance to communicate with a referral that you paid for, 7 days after receiving said referral, you have the option to apply for a credit on your account. We will contact the client to make sure that the situation you have described is true we will credit the value paid for this referral. The credit can be approved within 15 business days of your request and will be applied as a credit on your helloDarwin account. You can use the said credit for any referral or monthly subscription. Note that these are non-refundable and you must prove that you have made reasonable efforts to contact your referral. “Reasonable efforts” is defined as having contacted the referral at least 3 times using each contact method provided.
Revenue
Localbeautyartist.com does not take any commission or fee from the revenue or sales generated from referrals we provide to beauty artists.
Release
All users agree to localbeautyartist.com, its affiliates and its administrators, leaders, employees and respective agents from any and all claims and expenses, including the legal fees resulting from or related to services offered by a beauty artist from localbeautyartist.com’s network.
Each user is responsible for the interactions with the beauty artists that are a part of localbeautyartist.com’s network. To the extent that is permitted by current laws, each user releases localbeautyartist.com from any claim or responsibility related to any product or service offered by a Merchant, any action or inaction by a beauty artist from localbeautyartist.com’s network, including the inability on the beauty artist’s part, to comply with legislation that is currently in effect and/or the inability to comply with the terms of a service offer.
As a part of the previous release, each user declines any provision in the Civil Code of Quebec that declines the generality of the exemption from liability, as stipulated in this article.
Beauty Artist Profile Information
Website visitors are only provided the following information when viewing a beauty artist’s profile:
- Beauty Artist’s first name
- Their portfolio images
- The services and expertise they offer and service related information
No image of the Beauty Artist themselves
Furthermore, the Beauty Artist is aware that the outcome of a referral depends on the quality of their portfolio and they way it is portrayed on localbeautyartist.com. The Beauty Artist therefore consents to providing 10 images of their choice that will be added to their profile and consents to allowing localbeautyartist.com to use said images for commercials purposes.
In order to provide fair opportunity to Beauty Artists, their profiles are displayed in random order when no search parameters are provided and are listed by relevance to a user’s search parameters when some are provided.
Modifications
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to our data collection process. When we amend this Privacy Policy we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that our users periodically review our Privacy Policy to ensure that they are notified of any updates. If necessary, we may notify users by email of changes to this Privacy Policy.
